This piece, February Fields, will be in the next Gallery Hop at Christ Church Cathedral downtown, this February 21st. I saw they were looking for Winter pieces, and I had this one. I kind of think of this as a look of a different Winter. This one has been very cold and snowy. I imagine most of the work there will involve snow. But as you can see in the pic, there was no snow, but instead burning bright grass there at Shaker town. Maybe it's Johnson Grass, I'm not sure. It's really pretty this time of year though. That's much I do know. Malissa posed for this around this time last year when we had a warm day. Hopefully we'll have some warm days soon.
